Prouerbs 12

1 From this chapter to the five and twentieth are sundry observations of moral virtues, and their contrary vices.

 12:1 ¶ Whoso loueth 157 z8802 instruction, 4148 loueth 157 z8802 knowledge: 1847 but he that hateth 8130 z8802 reproofe, 8433 is brutish. 1198

 12:2 A good 2896 man obtaineth 6329 z8686 fauour 7522 of the LORD: 3068 x4480 but a man 376 of wicked deuices 4209 will he condemne. 7561 z8686

 12:3 A man 120 shall not x3808 bee established 3559 z8735 by wickednesse: 7562 but the roote 8328 of the righteous 6662 shall not x1077 be mooued. 4131 z8735

 12:4 A vertuous 2428 woman 802 [is] a crowne 5850 to her husband: 1167 but she that maketh ashamed, 954 z8688 [is] as rottennesse 7538 in his bones. 6106

 12:5 The thoughts 4284 of the righteous 6662 [are] right: 4941 but the counsels 8458 of the wicked 7563 [are] deceit. 4820

 12:6 The words 1697 of the wicked 7563 [are] to lie in waite 693 z8800 for blood: 1818 but the mouth 6310 of the vpright 3477 shall deliuer 5337 z8686 them.

 12:7 The wicked 7563 are ouerthrowen, 2015 z8800 and [are] not: x369 but the house 1004 of the righteous 6662 shall stand. 5975 z8799

 12:8 A man 376 shall be commended 1984 z8792 according 6310 to his wisedome: 7922 but hee that is of a peruerse 5753 z8737 heart, 3820 shall be x1961 despised. 937

 12:9 Hee that is despised 7034 z8737 and [hath] a seruant, 5650 [is] better 2896 then he that honoureth y3513 z8693 himselfe, x4480 x3513 and lacketh 2638 bread. 3899

 12:10 A righteous 6662 man regardeth 3045 z8802 the life 5315 of his beast: 929 but the tender mercies 7356 of the wicked 7563 [are] cruell. 394

 12:11 Hee that tilleth 5647 z8802 his land, 127 shall bee satisfied 7646 z8799 with bread: 3899 but he that followeth 7291 z8764 vaine 7386 persons, [is] void 2638 of vnderstanding. 3820

 12:12 The wicked 7563 desireth 2530 z8804 the net 4685 of euill 7451 men: but the roote 8328 of the righteous 6662 yeeldeth 5414 z8799 [fruit].

 12:13 The wicked 7451 is snared 4170 by the transgression 6588 of [his] lippes: 8193 but the iust 6662 shall come out 3318 z8799 of trouble. 6869 x4480

 12:14 A man 376 shall bee satisfied 7646 z8799 with good 2896 by the fruit 6529 x4480 of [his] mouth, 6310 and the recompence 1576 of a mans 120 hands 3027 shall bee rendred 7725 z8686 z8675 z8799 vnto him.

 12:15 The way 1870 of a foole 191 [is] right 3477 in his owne eyes: 5869 but he that hearkeneth 8085 z8802 vnto counsell, 6098 [is] wise. 2450

 12:16 A fooles 191 wrath 3708 is presently 3117 knowen: 3045 z8735 but a prudent 6175 man couereth 3680 z8802 shame. 7036

 12:17 He that speaketh 6315 z8686 trueth, 530 sheweth foorth 5046 z8686 righteousnesse: 6664 but a false 8267 witnesse, 5707 deceit. 4820

 12:18 There is 3426 that speaketh 981 z8802 like the pearcings 4094 of a sword: 2719 but the tongue 3956 of the wise 2450 [is] health. 4832

 12:19 The lippe 8193 of trueth 571 shall bee established 3559 z8735 for euer: 5703 but x5704 a lying 8267 tongue 3956 [is] but for a moment. 7280 z8686

 12:20 Deceit 4820 [is] in the heart 3820 of them that imagine 2790 z8802 euill: 7451 but to the counsellours 3289 z8802 of peace, 7965 [is] ioy. 8057

 12:22 Lying 8267 lippes 8193 [are] abomination 8441 to the LORD: 3068 but they that deale 6213 z8802 truely, 530 [are] his delight. 7522

 12:23 A prudent 6175 man 120 concealeth 3680 z8802 knowledge: 1847 but the heart 3820 of fooles 3684 proclaimeth 7121 z8799 foolishnesse. 200

 12:24 The hand 3027 of the diligent 2742 shall beare rule: 4910 z8799 but the slouthfull 7423 shall bee x1961 vnder tribute. 4522

 12:25 Heauinesse 1674 in the heart 3820 of man 376 maketh it stoope: 7812 z8686 but a good 2896 word 1697 maketh it glad. 8055 z8762

 12:26 The righteous 6662 [is] more excellent 8446 z8686 then his neighbour: 7453 x4480 but the way 1870 of the wicked 7563 seduceth 8582 z8686 them.

 12:27 The slouthfull 7423 [man] rosteth 2760 z8799 not x3808 that which he tooke in hunting: 6718 but the substance 1952 of a diligent 2742 man 120 [is] precious. 3368

 12:28 In the way 734 of righteousnesse 6666 [is] life, 2416 and in the path-way 5410 1870 [thereof there is] no x408 death. 4194
