Psalmes 18

David praiseth God for his manifold and marvellous blessings.

 18:1 ¶ [[To the chiefe musicion, 5329 z8764 [a psalme] of Dauid, 1732 the seruant 5650 of the LORD, 3068 who x834 spake 1696 z8765 vnto the LORD 3068 x853 the words 1697 of this x2063 song, 7892 in the day 3117 [that] the LORD 3068 deliuered 5337 z8689 him from the hand 3709 x4480 of all x3605 his enemies, 341 z8802 and from the hand 3027 x4480 of Saul: 7586 And he said,]] 559 z8799 I will loue 7355 z8799 thee, O LORD, 3068 my strength. 2391

 18:2 The LORD 3068 [is] my rocke, 5553 and my fortresse, 4686 and my deliuerer: 6403 z8764 my God, 410 my strength 6697 in whome I will trust, 2620 z8799 my buckler, 4043 and the horne 7161 of my saluation, 3468 [and] my high tower. 4869

 18:3 I will call 7121 z8799 vpon the LORD, 3068 who is worthy to be praised: 1984 z8794 so shall I be saued 3467 z8735 from x4480 mine enemies. 341 z8802

 18:4 The sorrowes 2256 of death 4194 compassed 661 z8804 me, and the floods 5158 of vngodly men 1100 made me afraid. 1204 z8762

 18:5 The sorrowes 2256 of hell 7585 compassed me about: 5437 z8804 the snares 4170 of death 4194 preuented 6923 z8765 me.

 18:6 In my distresse 6862 I called y7121 z8799 vpon x7121 the LORD, 3068 and cryed 7768 z8762 vnto x413 my God: 430 hee heard 8085 z8799 my voyce 6963 out of his temple, 1964 x4480 and my crie 7775 came 935 z8799 before 6440 him, [euen] into his eares. 241

 18:7 Then the earth 776 shooke 1607 z8799 and trembled; 7493 z8799 the foundations 4146 also of the hilles 2022 mooued 7264 z8799 and were shaken, 1607 z8691 because x3588 hee was wroth. 2734 z8804

 18:8 There went vp 5927 z8804 a smoke 6227 out of his nostrils, 639 and fire 784 out of his mouth 6310 x4480 deuoured, 398 z8799 coales 1513 were kindled 1197 z8804 by x4480 it.

 18:9 He bowed 5186 z8799 the heauens 8064 also, and came downe: 3381 z8799 and darkenesse 6205 [was] vnder x8478 his feet. 7272

 18:10 And he rode 7392 z8799 vpon x5921 a Cherub, 3742 and did flie: 5774 z8799 yea he did flie 1675 z8799 vpon x5921 the wings 3671 of the wind. 7307

 18:11 He made 7896 z8799 darkenes y2822 x2824 his secret place: 5643 his pauilion 5521 round about 5439 him, [were] darke 2824 waters, 4325 [and] thicke cloudes 5645 of the skies. 7834

 18:12 At the brightnes 5051 x4480 [that was] before x5048 him his thicke clouds 5645 passed, 5674 z8804 haile 1259 [stones] and coales 1513 of fire. 784

 18:13 The LORD 3068 also thundered 7481 z8686 in the heauens, 8064 and the highest 5945 gaue 5414 z8799 his voyce; 6963 hailestones 1259 and coales 1513 of fire. 784

 18:14 Yea, he sent out 7971 z8799 his arrowes, 2671 and scattered 6327 z8686 them; and he shot out 7232 z8804 lightnings, 1300 and discomfited 2000 z8799 them.

 18:15 Then the chanels 650 of waters 4325 were seene, 7200 z8735 and the foundations 4146 of the world 8398 were discouered: 1540 z8735 at thy rebuke, 1606 x4480 O LORD, 3068 at the blast 5397 x4480 of the breath 7307 of thy nostrils. 639

 18:16 He sent 7971 z8799 from aboue, 4791 x4480 he tooke 3947 z8799 me, he drew 4871 z8686 me out of many y7227 waters. 4325 x4480 x7227

 18:17 He deliuered 5337 z8686 me from my strong 5794 enemie, 341 z8802 x4480 and from them which hated 8130 z8802 x4480 me: for x3588 they were too strong 553 z8804 for x4480 me.

 18:18 They preuented 6923 z8762 me in the day 3117 of my calamitie: 343 but the LORD 3068 was x1961 my stay. 4937

 18:19 He brought me forth 3318 z8686 also into a large place: 4800 he deliuered 2502 z8762 me, because x3588 he delighted 2654 z8804 in me.

 18:20 The LORD 3068 rewarded 1580 z8799 me according to my righteousnesse, 6664 according to the cleannesse 1252 of my hands 3027 hath hee recompensed 7725 z8686 me.

 18:21 For x3588 I haue kept 8104 z8804 the wayes 1870 of the LORD, 3068 and haue not x3808 wickedly departed 7561 z8804 from my God. 430 x4480

 18:22 For x3588 all x3605 his iudgements 4941 [were] before x5048 me, and I did not x3808 put away 5493 z8686 his statutes 2708 from x4480 me.

 18:23 I was x1961 also vpright 8549 before x5973 him: and I kept y8104 z8691 my selfe x8104 from mine iniquity. 5771 x4480

 18:24 Therefore hath the LORD 3068 recompensed 7725 z8686 me according to my righteousnesse, 6664 according to the cleannesse 1252 of my hands 3027 in x5048 his eye-sight. 5869

 18:25 With x5973 the mercifull 2623 thou wilt shew thy selfe mercifull, 2616 z8691 with x5973 an vpright 8549 man 1399 thou wilt shew thy selfe vpright. 8552 z8691

 18:27 For x3588 thou wilt x859 saue 3467 z8686 the afflicted 6041 people: 5971 but wilt bring downe 8213 z8686 high 7311 z8802 lookes. 5869

 18:28 For x3588 thou x859 wilt light 215 z8686 my candle: 5216 the LORD 3068 my God 430 will enlighten 5050 z8686 my darkenesse. 2822

 18:29 For x3588 by thee I haue run through 7323 z8799 a troupe? 1416 and by my God 430 haue I leaped ouer 1801 z8762 a wall. 7791

 18:30 As for God, 410 his way 1870 is perfect: 8549 the word 565 of the LORD 3068 is tried: 6884 z8803 he x1931 is a buckler 4043 to all x3605 those that trust 2620 z8802 in him.

 18:31 For x3588 who x4310 [is] God 433 saue 1107 x4480 the LORD? 3068 or who x4310 [is] a rocke 6697 saue 2108 our God? 430

 18:32 It is God 410 that girdeth 247 z8764 mee with strength, 2428 and maketh 5414 z8799 my way 1870 perfect. 8549

 18:33 Hee maketh 7737 z8764 my feete 7272 like hindes 355 [feete], and setteth 5975 z8686 me vpon x5921 my high places. 1116

 18:34 He teacheth 3925 z8764 my hands 3027 to warre, 4421 so that a bow 7198 of steele 5154 is broken 5181 z8765 by mine armes. 2220

 18:35 Thou hast also giuen 5414 z8799 me the shield 4043 of thy saluation: 3468 and thy right hand 3225 hath holden me vp, 5582 z8799 and thy gentlenesse y6037 x6038 hath made me great. 7235 z8686

 18:36 Thou hast enlarged 7337 z8686 my steppes 6806 vnder x8478 me; that my feete 7166 did not x3808 slippe. 4571 z8804

 18:37 I haue pursued 7291 z8799 mine enemies, 341 z8802 and ouertaken 5381 z8686 them: neither x3808 did I turne againe 7725 z8799 till x5704 they were consumed. 3615 z8763

 18:39 For thou hast girded 247 z8762 mee with strength 2428 vnto the battell: 4421 thou hast subdued 3766 z8686 vnder x8478 me, those that rose vp 6965 z8801 against me.

 18:40 Thou hast also giuen 5414 z8804 mee the neckes 6203 of mine enemies: 341 z8802 that I might destroy 6789 z8686 them that hate 8130 z8764 me.

 18:41 They cried, 7768 z8762 but there was none x369 to saue 3467 z8688 [them: euen] vnto x5921 the LORD, 3068 but he answered 6030 z8804 them not. x3808

 18:42 Then did I beate y7833 z8799 them small x7833 as the dust 6083 before 6440 x5921 the winde: 7307 I did cast them out, 7324 z8686 as the dirt 2916 in the streetes. 2351

 18:43 Thou hast deliuered 6403 z8762 me from the striuings 7379 x4480 of the people, 5971 [and] thou hast made 7760 z8799 mee the head 7218 of the heathen: 1471 a people 5971 [whom] I haue not x3808 knowen, 3045 z8804 shall serue 5647 z8799 me.

 18:44 As soone as they heare 8088 241 of mee, they shall obey 8085 z8735 me: the strangers 1121 5236 shall submit 3584 z8762 themselues vnto me.

 18:45 The strangers 1121 5236 shall fade away, 5034 z8799 and be afraid 2727 z8799 out of x4480 their close places. 4526

 18:46 The LORD 3068 liueth, 2416 and blessed 1288 z8803 be my rocke: 6697 and let the God 430 of my saluation 3468 be exalted. 7311 z8799

 18:47 It is God 410 that auengeth 5414 5360 z8802 mee, and subdueth 1696 z8686 the people 5971 vnder x8478 me.

 18:48 He deliuereth 6403 z8764 me from mine enemies: 341 z8802 x4480 yea x637 thou liftest mee vp 7311 z8787 aboue x4480 those that rise vp 6965 z8801 against me; thou hast deliuered 5337 z8686 me from the violent 2555 man. 376 x4480

 18:49 Therfore x5921 x3651 will I giue thankes 3034 z8686 vnto thee, (O LORD) 3068 among the heathen: 1471 and sing prayses 2167 z8762 vnto thy name. 8034

 18:50 Great 1431 z8688 deliuerance 3444 giueth he to his King: 4428 and sheweth 6213 z8802 mercy 2617 to his Annointed, 4899 to Dauid, 1732 and to his seede 2233 for y5704 euermore. 5769 x5704
