Deuteronomie 11

1 An exhortation to obedience, 2 by their own experience of God's great works, 8 by promise of God's great blessings, 16 and by threatenings. 13 A careful study is required in God's Words. 26 The blessing and curse is set before them.

 11:1 ¶ Therefore thou shalt loue 157 z8804 x853 the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 and keepe 8104 z8804 his charge, 4931 and his Statutes, 2708 and his Iudgements, 4941 and his Commandements 4687 alway. 3117 x3605

 11:2 And know 3045 z8804 you this day: 3117 for x3588 I [speake] not x3808 with x854 your children 1121 which x834 haue not x3808 knowen, 3045 z8804 and which x834 haue not x3808 seene 7200 z8804 x853 the chastisement 4148 of the LORD 3068 your God, 430 x853 his greatnesse, 1433 x853 his mighty 2389 hand, 3027 and his stretched out 5186 z8803 arme, 2220

 11:3 And his miracles, 226 and his actes, 4639 which x834 he did 6213 z8804 in the midst 8432 of Egypt, 4714 vnto Pharaoh 6547 the King 4428 of Egypt, 4714 and vnto all x3605 his land, 776

 11:4 And what x834 hee did 6213 z8804 vnto the army 2428 of Egypt, 4714 vnto their horses, 5483 and to their charets, 7393 how x834 he made x853 the water 4325 of the Red 5488 sea 3220 to ouerflow 6687 z8689 x5921 x6440 them y6440 as they pursued 7291 z8800 after 310 you, and [how] the LORD 3068 hath destroyed 6 z8762 them vnto x5704 this x2088 day, 3117

 11:5 And what x834 hee did 6213 z8804 vnto you in the wildernesse, 4057 vntill x5704 yee came 935 z8800 into x5704 this x2088 place, 4725

 11:6 And what x834 he did 6213 z8804 vnto Dathan, 1885 and Abiram, 48 the sonnes 1121 of Eliab 446 the sonne 1121 of Reuben: 7205 how x834 the earth 776 opened 6475 z8804 x853 her mouth 6310 and swallowed them vp, 1104 z8799 and their housholds, 1004 and their tents, 168 and all x3605 the substance 3351 that x834 was in their possession 7272 in the middest 7130 of all x3605 Israel. 3478

 11:7 But x3588 your eyes 5869 haue seene 7200 z8802 x853 all x3605 the great 1419 acts 4639 of the LORD, 3068 which x834 he did. 6213 z8804

 11:8 Therefore shall yee keepe 8104 z8804 x853 all x3605 the Commandements 4687 which 834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 you this day, 3117 that x4616 ye may be strong 2388 z8799 and goe in, 935 z8804 and possesse 3423 z8804 x853 the land 776 whither x834 x8033 ye x859 goe 5674 z8802 to possesse 3423 z8800 it:

 11:9 And that x4616 yee may prolong 748 z8686 [your] dayes 3117 in x5921 the lande 127 which x834 the LORD 3068 sware 7650 z8738 vnto your fathers 1 to giue 5414 z8800 vnto them, and to their seed, 2233 a land 776 that floweth 2100 z8802 with milke 2461 and hony. 1706

 11:10 ¶ For x3588 the land 776 whither x834 x8033 thou x859 goest in 935 z8802 to possesse 3423 z8800 it, is not x3808 as the lande 776 of Egypt 4714 from whence x834 x4480 x8033 ye came out, 3318 z8804 where x834 thou sowedst 2232 z8799 x853 thy seed, 2233 and wateredst 8248 z8689 [it] with thy foot, 7272 as a garden 1588 of herbes: 3419

 11:11 But the lande 776 whither x834 x8033 ye x859 goe 5674 z8802 to possesse 3423 z8800 it, [is] a lande 776 of hilles 2022 and valleys, 1237 [and] drinketh 8354 z8799 water 4325 of the raine 4306 of heauen: 8064

 11:12 A lande, 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 careth x1875 for: y1875 z8802 the eyes 5869 of the LORD 3068 thy God 430 [are] alwayes 8548 vpon it, from the beginning 7225 x4480 of the yeere, 8141 euen vnto x5704 the end 319 of the yeere. 8141

 11:13 ¶ And it shall come to passe, x1961 if x518 you shall hearken y8085 z8799 diligently 8085 z8800 vnto x413 my Commandements 4687 which x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 you this day, 3117 to loue 157 z8800 x853 the LORD 3068 your God, 430 and to serue 5647 z8800 him with all x3605 your heart, 3824 and with all x3605 your soule; 5315

 11:14 That I will giue 5414 z8804 [you] the raine 4306 of your land 776 in his due season, 6256 the first raine 3138 and the latter raine, 4456 that thou mayest gather y622 z8804 in x622 thy corne, 1715 and thy wine, 8492 and thine oyle. 3323

 11:15 And I will send 5414 z8804 grasse 6212 in thy fields 7704 for thy cattell, 929 that thou mayest eate 398 z8804 and be full. 7646 z8804

 11:16 Take heede 8104 z8734 to your selues, that x6435 your heart 3824 be not deceiued, 6601 z8799 and ye turne aside, 5493 z8804 and serue 5647 z8804 other 312 gods, 430 and worship 7812 z8694 them:

 11:17 And [then] the LORDS 3068 wrath 639 be kindled 2734 z8804 against you, and hee shut vp 6113 z8804 x853 the heauen, 8064 that there be x1961 no x3808 raine, 4306 and that the land 127 yeeld 5414 z8799 not x3808 x853 her fruit, 2981 and lest ye perish 6 z8804 quickly 4120 from off x4480 x5921 the good 2896 land 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 giueth 5414 z8802 you.

 11:18 ¶ Therefore shall ye lay vp 7760 z8804 x853 these x428 my words 1697 in x5921 your heart, 3824 and in x5921 your soule, 5315 and bind 7194 z8804 them for a signe 226 vpon x5921 your hand, 3027 that they may bee x1961 as frontlets 2903 betweene x996 your eyes. 5869

 11:19 And ye shal teach 3925 z8765 them x853 your children, 1121 speaking 1696 z8763 of them, when thou sittest 3427 z8800 in thine house, 1004 and when thou walkest y3212 z8800 x1980 by the way, 1870 when thou liest y7901 z8800 downe, x7901 and when thou risest vp. 6965 z8800

 11:20 And thou shalt write 3789 z8804 them vpon x5921 the doore posts 4201 of thine house, 1004 and vpon thy gates: 8179

 11:21 That x4616 your dayes 3117 may bee multiplied, 7235 z8799 and the dayes 3117 of your children, 1121 in x5921 the land 127 which x834 the LORD 3068 sware 7650 z8738 vnto your fathers 1 to giue 5414 z8800 them, as the dayes 3117 of heauen 8064 vpon x5921 the earth. 776

 11:22 ¶ For x3588 if x518 ye shall diligently y8104 z8800 keepe 8104 z8799 x853 all x3605 these x2063 Commaundements 4687 which x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 you, to doe 6213 z8800 them, to loue 157 z8800 x853 the LORD 3068 your God, 430 to walke y3212 z8800 x1980 in all x3605 his wayes, 1870 and to cleaue 1692 z8800 vnto him:

 11:23 Then will the LORD 3068 driue out 3423 z8689 x853 all x3605 these x428 nations 1471 from before 6440 x4480 you, and ye shall possesse 3423 z8804 greater 1419 nations, 1471 and mightier 6099 then x4480 your selues.

 11:24 Euery x3605 place 4725 whereon x834 the soles 3709 of your feet 7272 shall tread, 1869 z8799 shall be x1961 yours: from x4480 the wildernesse, 4057 and Lebanon, 3844 from x4480 the riuer, 5104 the riuer 5104 Euphrates, 6578 euen vnto x5704 the vttermost 314 sea, 3220 shall your coast 1366 be. x1961

 11:25 There shall no x3808 man 376 bee able to stand 3320 z8691 before 6440 you: [for] the LORD 3068 your God 430 shall lay 5414 z8799 the feare 6343 of you, and the dread 4172 of you vpon 6440 x5921 all x3605 the land 776 that x834 yee shall tread 1869 z8799 vpon, as x834 hee hath said 1696 z8765 vnto you.

 11:26 ¶ Behold, 7200 z8798 I x595 set 5414 z8802 before 6440 you this day, 3117 a blessing 1293 and a curse: 7045

 11:27 x853 A blessing, 1293 if x834 ye obey 8085 z8799 x413 the Commandements 4687 of the LORD 3068 your God 430 which x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 you this day: 3117

 11:28 And a curse, 7045 if x518 ye will not x3808 obey 8085 z8799 x413 the Commandements 4687 of the LORD 3068 your God, 430 but turne aside 5493 z8804 out of x4480 the way, 1870 which x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 you this day, 3117 to goe y3212 z8800 x1980 after 310 other 312 gods 430 which x834 yee haue not x3808 knowen. 3045 z8804

 11:29 And it shall come to passe x1961 when x3588 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath brought thee in, 935 z8686 vnto x413 the land 776 whither x834 x8033 thou x859 goest 935 z8802 to possesse 3423 z8800 it, that thou shalt put 5414 z8804 x853 the blessing 1293 vpon x5921 mount 2022 Gerizim, 1630 and the curse 7045 vpon x5921 mount 2022 Ebal. 5858

 11:30 Are they x1992 not x3808 on the other side 5676 Iordan, 3383 by 310 the way 1870 where the Sunne 8121 goeth downe, 3996 in the land 776 of the Canaanites, 3669 which dwell 3427 z8802 in the champion 6160 ouer against 4136 Gilgal, 1537 beside 681 the plaines 436 of Moreh? 4176

 11:31 For x3588 ye x859 shall passe ouer 5674 z8802 x853 Iordan, 3383 to goe in 935 z8800 to possesse 3423 z8800 x853 the land 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 you, and ye shall possesse 3423 z8804 it, and dwell 3427 z8804 therein.

 11:32 And yee shall obserue 8104 z8804 to doe 6213 z8800 x853 all x3605 the Statutes, 2706 and Iudgements, 4941 which x834 I x595 set 5414 z8802 before 6440 you this day. 3117
