1 The beginning of the year is changed. 3 The Passover is instituted. 11 The rite of the Passover. 15 Unleavened bread. 29 The firstborn are slain. 31 The Israelites are driven out of the land. 37 They come to Succoth. 43 The ordinance of the Passover.

 12:1 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 559 z8799 vnto x413 Moses 4872 and Aaron 175 in the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 saying, 559 z8800

 12:2 This x2088 moneth 2320 [shalbe] vnto you the beginning 7218 of moneths: 2320 it x1931 shall be the first 7223 moneth 2320 of the yeere 8141 to you.

 12:3 ¶ Speake 1696 z8761 ye vnto x413 all x3605 the Congregation 5712 of Israel, 3478 saying, 559 z8800 In the tenth 6218 day of this x2088 moneth 2320 they shall take 3947 z8799 to them euery man 376 a lambe, 7716 according to the house 1004 of [their] fathers, 1 a lambe 7716 for an house. 1004

 12:4 And if x518 the houshold 1004 be y1961 z8800 too little 4591 z8799 for the lambe, 7716 4480 x1961 let him x1931 and his neighbour 7934 next 7138 vnto x413 his house, 1004 take 3947 z8804 [it] according to the number 4373 of the soules: 5315 euery man 376 according y6310 to x6310 his eating 400 shall make your count 3699 z8799 for x5921 the lambe. 7716

 12:5 Your lambe 7716 shall be x1961 without blemish, 8549 a male 2145 of the first 1121 yeere: 8141 yee shall take y3947 z8799 it out x3947 from x4480 the sheepe 3532 or from x4480 the goates. 5795

 12:6 And ye shall keepe 4931 x1961 it vp vntill x5704 the fourteenth 702 6240 day 3117 of the same x2088 moneth: 2320 and the whole 3605 assembly 6951 of the congregation 5712 of Israel 3478 shall kill 7819 z8804 it in 996 the euening. 6153

 12:7 And they shall take 3947 z8804 of x4480 the blood 1818 and strike 5414 z8804 it on x5921 the two 8147 side postes, 4201 and on x5921 the vpper doore poste, 4947 of x5921 the houses 1004 wherin x834 they shall eate 398 z8799 it.

 12:8 And they shall eat 398 z8804 x853 the flesh 1320 in that x2088 night 3915 roste 6748 with fire, 784 and vnleauened bread, 4682 [and] with x5921 bitter 4844 [herbes] they shall eate 398 z8799 it.

 12:9 Eate 398 z8799 not x408 of x4480 it raw, 4995 nor sodden y1310 z8794 y1311 at all x1311 x1310 with water, 4325 but x3588 x518 roste 6748 [with] fire: 784 his head, 7218 with x5921 his legs, 3767 and with x5921 the purtenance 7130 thereof.

 12:10 And ye shall let nothing x3808 of x4480 it remaine 3498 z8686 vntill x5704 the morning: 1242 and that which remaineth 3498 z8737 of x4480 it vntill x5704 the morning, 1242 ye shall burne 8313 z8799 with fire. 784

 12:11 ¶ And thus 3602 shall ye eate 398 z8799 it: with your loines 4975 girded, 2296 z8803 your shooes 5275 on your feet, 7272 and your staffe 4731 in your hand: 3027 and ye shall eate 398 z8804 it in haste: 2649 it x1931 is the LORDS 3068 Passeouer. 6453

 12:12 For I will passe y5674 z8804 through x5674 the land 776 of Egypt 4714 this x2088 night, 3915 and will smite 5221 z8689 all x3605 the first borne 1060 in the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 both man 120 x4480 & beast, 929 and against all x3605 the gods 430 of Egypt 4714 I will execute 6213 z8799 iudgement: 8201 I x589 [am] the LORD. 3068

 12:13 And the blood 1818 shall be x1961 to you for a token 226 vpon x5921 the houses 1004 where x834 you x859 [are]: and when I see 7200 z8804 x853 the blood, 1818 I will passe 6452 z8804 ouer x5921 you, and the plague 5063 shall not x3808 bee x1961 vpon you to destroy 4889 [you], when I smite 5221 z8687 the land 776 of Egypt. 4714

 12:14 And this x2088 day 3117 shall be x1961 vnto you for a memoriall: 2146 and you shall keepe 2287 z8804 in a feast 2282 to the LORD, 3068 throughout your generations: 1755 you shall keepe it a feast 2287 z8799 by an ordinance 2708 for euer. 5769

 12:15 Seuen 7651 dayes 3117 shall ye eate 398 z8799 vnleauened bread, 4682 euen 389 the first 7223 day 3117 yee shall put away 7673 z8686 leauen 7603 out of your houses: 1004 x4480 For x3588 whosoeuer x3605 eateth 398 z8802 leauened bread, 2557 from the first y7223 day 3117 x4480 x7223 vntil x5704 the seuenth 7637 day, 3117 that x1931 soule 5315 shall be cut y3772 z8738 off x3772 from Israel. 3478 x4480

 12:16 And in the first 7223 day 3117 there [shalbe] an holy 6944 conuocation, 4744 and in the seuenth 7637 day 3117 there shall be x1961 an holy 6944 conuocation 4744 to you: no x3808 maner x3605 of worke 4399 shalbe done 6213 z8735 in them, saue 389 that which x834 euery x3605 man 5315 must eate, 398 z8735 that x1931 onely x905 may bee done 6213 z8735 of you.

 12:17 And yee shall obserue 8104 z8804 x853 the [feast of] vnleauened bread: 4682 for x3588 in this x2088 selfe same 6106 day 3117 haue I brought y3318 z8689 your armies y6635 out x3318 x853 x6635 of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt; 4714 therefore shall ye obserue 8104 z8804 x853 this x2088 day 3117 in your generations, 1755 by an ordinance 2708 for euer. 5769

 12:18 ¶ In the first 7223 [moneth], on the fourteenth 6240 702 day 3117 of the moneth 2320 at euen, 6153 ye shall eate 398 z8799 vnleauened bread 4682 vntill x5704 the one 259 and twentieth 6242 day 3117 of the moneth 2320 at euen. 6153

 12:19 Seuen 7651 dayes 3117 shall there bee no x3808 leauen 7603 found 4672 z8735 in your houses: 1004 for x3588 whosoeuer x3605 eateth 398 z8802 that which is leauened, y2556 z8688 x2557 euen that x1931 soule 5315 shall be cut off 3772 z8738 from the congregation 5712 x4480 of Israel, 3478 whether he be a stranger, 1616 or borne 249 in the land. 776

 12:20 Yee shall eate 398 z8799 nothing x3605 x3808 leauened: y2556 z8688 x2557 in all x3605 your habitations 4186 shall ye eate 398 z8799 vnleauened bread. 4682

 12:21 ¶ Then Moses 4872 called 7121 z8799 for all x3605 the Elders 2205 of Israel, 3478 and said 559 z8799 vnto x413 them; Draw out 4900 z8798 and take 3947 z8798 you a lambe, 6629 according to your families, 4940 and kill 7819 z8798 the Passeouer. 6453

 12:22 And ye shall take 3947 z8804 a bunch 92 of hysope, 231 and dip 2881 z8804 it in the blood 1818 that x834 [is] in the bason, 5592 and strike 5060 z8689 x413 the lintel 4947 and the two 8147 side postes 4201 with x4480 the blood 1818 that x834 is in the bason: 5592 and none 376 x3808 of you x859 shall goe out 3318 z8799 at the doore 6607 x4480 of his house, 1004 vntill x5704 the morning. 1242

 12:23 For the LORD 3068 wil passe through 5674 z8804 to smite 5062 z8800 x853 the Egyptians: 4714 and when hee seeth 7200 z8804 x853 the blood 1818 vpon x5921 the lintel, 4947 and on x5921 the two 8147 side-postes, 4201 the LORD 3068 will passe x6452 ouer y6452 z8804 x5921 the doore, 6607 and will not x3808 suffer 5414 z8799 the destroyer 7843 z8688 to come y935 z8800 in x935 vnto x413 your houses 1004 to smite 5062 z8800 [you].

 12:24 And ye shall obserue 8104 z8804 x853 this x2088 thing 1697 for an ordinance 2706 to thee, and to thy sonnes 1121 for y5704 euer. 5769 x5704

 12:25 And it shall come to passe x1961 when x3588 yee bee come 935 z8799 to x413 the land, 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 will giue 5414 z8799 you, according as x834 he hath promised, 1696 z8765 that ye shall keepe 8104 z8804 x853 this x2063 seruice. 5656

 12:26 And it shall come to passe, x1961 when x3588 your children 1121 shall say 559 z8799 vnto x413 you, What x4100 meane you by this x2063 seruice? 5656

 12:27 That ye shall say, 559 z8804 It x1931 is the sacrifice 2077 of the LORDS 3068 Passeouer, 6453 who x834 passed 6452 z8804 ouer x5921 the houses 1004 of the children 1121 of Israel 3478 in Egypt, 4714 when he smote 5062 z8800 x853 the Egyptians, 4714 and deliuered 5337 z8689 our houses. 1004 And the people 5971 bowed the head, 6915 z8799 and worshipped. 7812 z8691

 12:28 And the children 1121 of Israel 3478 went away, y3212 z8799 x1980 and did 6213 z8799 as x834 the LORD 3068 had commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses 4872 and Aaron, 175 so x3651 did 6213 z8804 they.

 12:29 ¶ And it came to passe x1961 that at midnight 2677 3915 the LORD 3068 smote 5221 z8689 all x3605 the first borne 1060 in the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 from the first borne 1060 x4480 of Pharaoh 6547 that sate 3427 z8802 on x5921 his throne, 3678 vnto x5704 the first borne 1060 of the captiue 7628 that x834 was in the dungeon, 1004 953 and all x3605 the first borne 1060 of cattell. 929

 12:30 And Pharaoh 6547 rose vp 6965 z8799 in the night, 3915 hee x1931 and all x3605 his seruants, 5650 and all x3605 the Egyptians; 4714 and there was x1961 a great 1419 cry 6818 in Egypt: 4714 for x3588 there was not x369 a house, 1004 where x834 x8033 there was not x369 one dead. 4191 z8801

 12:32 Also x1571 take 3947 z8798 your flockes 6629 and x1571 your heards, 1241 as x834 ye haue said: 1696 z8765 and bee gone, y3212 z8798 x1980 and blesse 1288 z8765 me also. x1571

 12:33 And the Egyptians 4714 were vrgent 2388 z8799 vpon x5921 the people 5971 that they might send y7971 z8763 them out x7971 of x4480 the land 776 in haste: 4116 z8763 for x3588 they said, 559 z8804 We be all x3605 dead 4191 z8801 [men].

 12:34 And the people 5971 tooke 5375 z8799 x853 their dough 1217 before x2962 it was leauened, 2556 z8799 their kneading troughes 4863 beeing bound vp 6887 z8803 in their clothes 8071 vpon x5921 their shoulders. 7926

 12:35 And the children 1121 of Israel 3478 did 6213 z8804 according to the word 1697 of Moses: 4872 and they borrowed 7592 z8799 of the Egyptians 4714 x4480 iewels 3627 of siluer, 3701 and iewels 3627 of gold, 2091 and raiment. 8071

 12:36 And the LORD 3068 gaue 5414 z8804 the people 5971 x853 fauour 2580 in the sight 5869 of the Egyptians, 4714 so that they lent 7592 z8686 vnto them such things as they required: and they spoiled 5337 z8762 x853 the Egyptians. 4714

 12:40 ¶ Now the soiourning 4186 of the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 who x834 dwelt 3427 z8804 in Egypt, 4714 [was] foure 702 hundred 3967 y8141 and thirtie 7970 yeeres. 8141

 12:41 And it came to passe x1961 at the end 7093 x4480 of the foure 702 hundred 3967 y8141 and thirtie 7970 yeeres, 8141 [euen] the selfe same 6106 x2088 day 3117 it came to passe, x1961 that all x3605 the hosts 6635 of the LORD 3068 went out 3318 z8804 from the land 776 x4480 of Egypt. 4714

 12:42 It x1931 is a night 3915 to be much obserued 8107 vnto the LORD, 3068 for bringing y3318 z8687 them out x3318 from the land 776 x4480 of Egypt: 4714 This x2088 is that x1931 night 3915 of the LORD 3068 to be obserued 8107 of all x3605 the children 1121 of Israel, 3478 in their generations. 1755

 12:43 ¶ And the LORD 3068 saide 559 z8799 vnto x413 Moses 4872 and Aaron, 175 This x2063 is the ordinance 2708 of the Passeouer: 6453 there shall no x3808 x3605 stranger 1121 5236 eate 398 z8799 thereof.

 12:44 But euery x3605 mans 376 seruant 5650 that is bought 4736 for money, 3701 when thou hast circumcised 4135 z8804 him, then x227 shall he eate 398 z8799 thereof.

 12:45 A forreiner, 8453 and an hired seruant 7916 shall not x3808 eate 398 z8799 thereof.

 12:46 In one 259 house 1004 shall it be eaten, 398 z8735 thou shalt not x3808 carie foorth 3318 z8686 ought of x4480 the flesh 1320 abroad 2351 out of x4480 the house, 1004 neither x3808 shall ye breake 7665 z8799 a bone 6106 thereof.

 12:47 All x3605 the Congregation 5712 of Israel 3478 shall keepe 6213 z8799 it.

 12:48 And when x3588 a stranger 1616 shall soiourne 1481 z8799 with x854 thee, and will keepe 6213 z8804 the Passeouer 6453 to the LORD, 3068 let all x3605 his males 2145 be circumcised, 4135 z8736 and then x227 let him come neere, 7126 z8799 and keepe 6213 z8800 it: and he shall be x1961 as one that is borne y249 in x249 the land: 776 for no vncircumcised person 6189 x3808 x3605 shall eate 398 z8799 thereof.

 12:49 One 259 law 8451 shall be x1961 to him that is home-borne, 249 and vnto the stranger 1616 that soiourneth 1481 z8802 among 8432 you.

 12:50 Thus did 6213 z8799 all x3605 the children 1121 of Israel: 3478 as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses 4872 and Aaron, 175 so x3651 did 6213 z8804 they.

 12:51 And it came to passe x1961 the selfe same 6106 x2088 day, 3117 that the LORD 3068 did bring 3318 z8689 x853 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 by x5921 their armies. 6635
